ICE cotton futures market declined affected by lower ZCE cotton. Contract of May closed at 65.36cent/lb, down 0.81cent/lb and contract of Jul closed at 67.07cent/lb, down 0.73cent/lb. U.S. cotton export sales were down 46 percent from the previous week and 12 percent from the prior 4-week average, but the overall progress was relatively good and export shipments were steady.

Cotlook A Index rose by 0.6cent/lb to 76.45cent/lb.
