In contrast, consumption of dry wipes and flushable wipes (mainly used as wet toilet paper) rose significantly, particularly flushable wipes, partly due to a low base effect. The output is set to grow in 2026 on the back of rising domestic and overseas demand. Domestic demand growth will moderate due to constraints on household income growth, while overseas demand will expand further, driven by sustained growth in Latin America, Indonesia and other regions. Segments expected to drive incremental demand include flushable wipes, facial wipes and kitchen wipes.
